Sully is built for people who visit sites they don’t own (surveyors, architects, fire-safety practitioners, inspectors, trades) and owe a client a write-up afterwards.
Storm is built for contractors running a job site through Dashpivot forms, permits and records; the site is theirs for the life of the project.
Choose Storm if you already run Dashpivot and your write-up is a form you want filled from voice and photos, at no extra cost.
Choose Sully if the deliverable is a report, schedule or quote in your own shape, your capture is a narrated walkthrough video, and you don’t want a platform between the walk and Outlook.

Does Sitemate Storm process video?
- Not by its own capability lists as of 11 August 2026: voice notes, photos, typed notes, weather and location. A marketing bullet mentions video; the functional descriptions don’t. We re-check the page and will update this one if that changes.
Is Sully a Sitemate alternative?
- Only for the write-up. A contractor running a project in Dashpivot wouldn’t swap it for Sully; a surveying firm wouldn’t adopt Dashpivot to get a report drafted.
Does Storm cost extra?
- No. Per Sitemate, Storm is “available across all Dashpivot plans, including free trials, at no additional cost.” The cost is the Dashpivot licence.
